Krista Miller is an experienced municipal leader who served as the interim executive assistant to the city manager and city recorder for the city of Toledo in Oregon. During her time in this position, she supported the city manager in many areas, including administrative support, risk management, and employee benefits. She also managed communications between the city manager, the city council, and various city departments and advisory boards, as well as outside agencies. Krista Miller also managed the administrative budget and functioned as a clerk for the city council, among other responsibilities.
Ms. Miller previously served as the city manager for the city of Lakeside. While serving in this position, she launched the city’s safety committee. Her other duties involved human resources, employee management, and public works, as well as managing Lakeside’s $14.3 million budget. She also worked for the city of Mitchell as the city administrator and recorder between 2021 and 2023, during which time she played a driving role in the city’s revitalization.
Ms. Miller studied public administration as an undergraduate and graduate student at the University of Phoenix, earning a master of public administration. She earned her MPA with distinction and a 4.0 GPA.
